Chicago natives Sleep On It just wrapped up their first co-headlining tour alongside their buddies in Real Talk on ‘The Rebel Alliance Tour.’ The tour, which made its way from Kentucky to New York and back, marks the first time the band has officially hit the road. As a band that operates in a completely DIY realm of music, the guys were able to tour in support of their debut EP, Everything, All At Once, with some of their own savings and some help via their devoted fan-base through a Kickstarter campaign.
In Long Island, NY, we caught up with three of the members of Sleep On It to record an acoustic session and an exclusive interview where they delve into details regarding their first time on the road. They discuss everything from playing in haunted venues to Pokemon tattoos, their new acoustic tracks (that are soon to be released) and their mishap with fitting their van in a parking structure.
